## The core rule

- For any product in any delivery area, exactly one distributor may sell it. The rule is enforced by the database.
- A shop is placed in one delivery area by its map pin or PIN code. Each order line resolves by one lookup: (product, the shop's area, today) → the authorised distributor.
- If nobody is authorised yet, the shop can still order. The line waits as "awaiting routing" and the platform team assigns a distributor.
- There is no minimum order quantity, quantity slab or stock limit. Distributors confirm what they can deliver, and shops see it (for example "ordered 24, confirmed 12").
- The platform never silently reroutes a declined line to another distributor.
