What is Distribution Network?

Distribution Network is a B2B ordering platform for FMCG. It connects brands, the distributors they authorise, and the shops that sell to consumers, so that every order goes to the right distributor with no calls, no guesswork and no territory fights.

The problem

FMCG distribution still runs on phone calls, notebooks and guesswork.

Brands, distributors and shops all depend on each other, but most of the information passes through salesmen's visits and WhatsApp messages. Here's what breaks for each of them.

Brands

Can't see past the distributor.

  • No clear record of who sells which product in which area
  • Distributors overlap, undercut each other and fight over outlets
  • Demand from uncovered areas never shows up anywhere
  • Secondary sales are guessed from monthly reports

Distributors

Drowning in manual order-taking.

  • Orders come by phone, WhatsApp and salesman diaries, then get re-typed
  • Territory disputes with other distributors are settled by argument
  • Shop credit is tracked in notebooks
  • Shops expect items you never said you could supply

Shops

Juggling a dozen suppliers.

  • A different salesman, visit day and phone number for every brand
  • Minimum order quantities for things you only need a few of
  • You only find out what's short when the delivery arrives
  • Paper bills, returns and follow-ups get lost

How it works

One cart in. The right distributor out.

Every product line is decided by a single lookup: this product, in this shop's area, today gives the one authorised distributor.

How an order is routed A shop in a delivery area places one order. The order splits per product to Distributor A and Distributor B, whom the brand authorised for that area, and to the platform team for products nobody covers yet. For brands & manufacturers

Know exactly who sells your products, and where.

Authorise one distributor per product per area, and the platform enforces it on every order. See real sales by area and the demand you're missing.

Onboard your brand

Exclusive territories

Authorise a distributor per product or brand-wide. Two distributors can never hold the same product in the same area.

See coverage gaps

When a shop orders your product where nobody distributes it, the demand is captured and shown by area, not lost.

Sales by area

A brand dashboard with sales by delivery area and distributor, from real orders, not reports.

Your catalogue, everywhere

Maintain products, packs and categories once. Every shop in every area sees the same catalogue.

Price discipline

Distributors set prices per pack only between the MRP and the floor price.

Planned handovers

Transfer an area to a new distributor from a start date. Past orders keep the terms they were placed with.

For distributors & stockists

Orders that arrive ready. Territory that stays yours.

Every shop in your area orders your products straight into your panel. Confirm what you can supply, dispatch, and get paid. Nobody else can sell your products on your ground.

Become a distributor

Orders routed to you

You receive only lines for products and areas you're authorised for, split out of each shop's cart.

Confirm what you can supply

Edit any line to the quantity you can deliver, or zero. The shop sees it before the van leaves.

Claim areas on the map

Claim products in delivery areas. Overlapping claims go to the platform team, not to a price war.

Credit, COD or prepaid

Approve the shops you serve, set a credit limit for each and record payments against invoices.

Automatic invoices

GST invoices are raised as you fulfil. Dispatch, delivery and returns are tracked in one place.

Your team inside

Give your order desk staff their own logins, and set your company's terms once.

Built to be trusted

Fair rules, enforced by the system.

No silent fallback

If a distributor declines a line, the shop sees it. The platform never quietly reroutes and breaks the exclusivity it promised.

History stays true

Orders keep the price, tax and distributor they were placed with. A later transfer never rewrites the past.

Your data stays yours

Each distributor, brand and shop sees only its own business, and that is checked on every single request.

People decide the hard cases

Anything ambiguous becomes a conflict with its full context, for a person to resolve instead of an algorithm guessing.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is Distribution Network?

Distribution Network is a B2B ordering platform for FMCG. Shops order every brand they stock from one mobile app, and each product line is routed automatically to the one distributor the brand has authorised for that product in the shop's delivery area. Brands and distributors manage everything from a web panel.

How does an order reach the right distributor?

Every shop is placed in one delivery area by its map pin or PIN code. For each product in the cart, the platform looks up the distributor authorised for that product in that area today, and the order is split into one sub-order per distributor.

Can two distributors sell the same product in the same area?

No. For any product in any delivery area exactly one distributor may sell it. The rule is enforced by the database, so overlapping claims become a conflict for the platform team to resolve instead of a price war.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No. There is no minimum order, quantity slab or stock limit. Shops order what they need and each distributor confirms what it can deliver.

What happens if a distributor can't supply the full quantity?

The distributor edits the line to the quantity it can supply (zero means unavailable), and the shop sees it plainly, for example "ordered 24, confirmed 12". The platform never silently reroutes the order to someone else.

What if nobody distributes a product in my area yet?

You can still order it. The line waits as "awaiting routing" and opens a conflict for the platform team, who assign a distributor. Brands see this unmet demand as coverage gaps by area.

How do shops pay?

Cash on delivery, credit or prepaid, depending on what each distributor offers. Distributors set a credit limit per shop, and invoices are raised automatically.

Where is Distribution Network available?

We're piloting in Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), Kerala, and onboarding brands, distributors and shops in new areas on request. Tell us where you are.

What do I need to use it?

Shops use the Android or iPhone app and sign up with their phone number and shop location. Brands and distributors use the web panel in any modern browser.

Is my business data private?

Yes. Each distributor, brand and shop sees only its own orders, prices and customers, checked on every request, and every change is written to an audit log.
